The recent years have seen an influx of professionals of both - the IT Sector, as well as from the Security Engineering Sector migrating into this new and rapidly expanding technology.

Often buyers do not realise that a traditional IT Engineer's education does not provide any professional concept of camera optics, image evidence requirements, storage calculation or adequate camera positioning - just as a traditional CCTV Engineer's training does not generate an understanding of CAT V Network Cabling, network structure, network loads, routing / port forwarding or the absolute crucial firewall / network security.
